Hello! My name is

I write about things that can't sit still in my brain.
I draw things because sometimes words aren't enough.
I design gifts and keepsakes for little moments of surprise and delight.
I consult on CRM strategy and accessibility initiatives because
I believe in the power of shared experiences.
I'm kept in line by my service dog Ellie, a task trained rescue who is part GSD,
and part ham sandwich

I'm interested in people, systems, accessibility, personal experience, and the wonderfully weird (and often messy) ways they all overlap. Sometimes that means digging into a complicated problem and figuring out what’s really going on. Sometimes it means turning an idea into a story, a design, or something you can actually hold in your hands.

On Tuesday September 29, 2026, it will be the 5 year anniversary of my signing Ellie’s adoption papers. We’ll be at Tav for folks to stop by and give Ellie all the loves and pets. I’m also selling super soft tshirts with this design here, and giving a portion of the profits to Southern Comfort Animal Rescue.

Go Birds

I did the thing you’re not supposed to do; I googled my symptoms. If you haven’t read my last post, that’s probably a good place to start. The TL:DR is that two Saturdays ago I fainted and wound up in the hospital for a few days and don’t really still fully understand why. I’ve always need to understand the why; it’s more than just curiosity, it's like an itch I physically cannot NOT scratch. The longer it sits, the longer it drives me bonkers

CTE on the Mind

On Tuesday August 25, 2026, I sat in a hospital bed reading about a medical study published earlier that day that had made it to the front page of the New York Times: Major Study Finds at Least 1 in 4 NFL Players Get Brain Disease. A brain disease that, in spite of not being an NFL player, I was fairly certain was the cause of the acute fainting episode that had landed me in the hospital over two days prior.
